We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Surety Account Processor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Account Management team and Risk Advisors, processing day-to-day service requests associated with Surety accounts. The Account Processor will work under the supervision of the Account Management team servicing surety accounts and will progressively increase his/her responsibilities to further develop and grow within the Surety department.

*This is a great entry-level opportunity to get into the insurance industry and handle the processing of bonds.*

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the account management team by delivering quick and accurate responses to service requests in a caring and friendly manner
  • Accept, process, and communicate standard tasks such as, but not limited to:
    • Renewing and processing license and permit bonds
    • Obtaining information needed from company websites to support the renewal process
    • Process client correspondence per bond procedures
    • Prepare, process, and send completed bonds to clients
  • Receive, process, and manage other incoming bond requests delegated by account managers
  • Enter client activity and other relevant information into the company's software system(s)
  • Attend and actively participate in agency service training meetings
  • Develop positive relationships with partner insurance carriers
  • Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissions
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management
Requirements

Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • High school degree or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a property and casualty insurance license
