This position ensures the timely and accurate processing of insurance agent commissions.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)1.Process monthly insurance commissions (50-60%)Collect insurance carrier commission statements.This may include downloading from carrier web sites or calling carriers.Collect commission workbooks from insurance producers.Reconcile carrier statements with producer records.Update agent commission workbooks.Reconcile commission checks from carriers with HSI deposits.Provide revenue and metric information for reporting purposes to operations manager.Perform month-end reporting requirements.2. Complete special projects as requested (15-25%)Maintain and update as appropriate, formal written procedures for commission processing.Manage lead entry processing for timely assignment to producers and to ensure accurate metrics are reported.Maintain paperless resource center for carrier contracts and other retention documents.3. Maintain proper understanding of HomeServices agency management software. (5-10%)Reconcile client accounts as identified thru commission processing.4. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)Performance ExpectationsMeet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.QualificationsEducation:Associate degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent experience. Experience:Accounting experience is preferred.Experience writing processes and procedures. Knowledge and Skills:Advanced Excel skills; proficient with Word and databases.Excellent follow through and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Good figure aptitude and extremely detail oriented.Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure.Excellent time management and organizational skills.
