How You'll Create Possibilities

Essential Duties: Architect and execute multi-year cloud and infrastructure roadmaps, collaborating with individual architects to translate strategies into actionable plans. Lead the development of short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity aligns with GE Appliances' growth trajectory. Facilitate a multi-cloud strategy to leverage the strengths of AWS, GCP, and OCI while optimizing costs. Devise migration plans to maximize the utilization of compute, storage, and other infrastructure services across public, private, and disaster recovery clouds/data centers. Oversee the upgrade and utilization of the existing Active Directory environment to capitalize on new capabilities. Drive the elimination of legacy data centers and transition to future-ready cloud infrastructure. Manage infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, internet, security, and wireless implementations, ensuring reliability and performance. Research and recommend changes in services, products, and standards to support development efforts and infrastructure procurement. Provide thought leadership to C-Suite leaders and technical decision-makers, presenting creative insights and strategic recommendations. Oversee the evaluation of emerging technologies and industry trends, facilitating their implementation across multiple teams. Ensure compliance with IT Disaster Recovery Plans and maintain appropriate security levels on the network, infrastructure, and servers. Manage operational costs, conduct financial estimates, and negotiate with vendors for infrastructure products and services. Lead a site independence strategy to enhance site-level redundancies and efficiencies. Outstanding Team Leadership: Ensure alignment with GE Appliances' strategy and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the advanced infrastructure team. Develop team members' skills and capabilities through coaching, support, training, and development opportunities. Drive performance management processes, talent reviews, and effective staffing decisions to build a high-performing team. What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 10+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure architecture and design, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Advanced technical knowledge of cloud, database, integrations, network, compute, and storage. Strong ability to influence and guide executive-level managers, with a focus on driving transformational change. Proven track record of driving cross-functional, transformational changes with data-driven decision-making skills. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving, analytic, and project management skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on mentorship and team development. Avid learner with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 12+ years of relevant experience, with 6+ years in a director-level role.
