Job Description

In this position you will lead the strategy and execution of projects, within a customer cluster, for Electrical Power Steering software development.
  • Lead software topics across projects within the account
  • Support acquisitions for technical evaluation, timing and budget
  • Align and support definition of technical customer strategy and its execution
  • Interface between platform and customer projects
  • Drive customer requirements in the platform roadmap
  • Interface with platform group for updates on the latest technology and development activities
  • Drive technical discussions across multiple projects within the account
  • Contribute to software process improvement activities
  • Drive technical clarifications to implement customer requirements and defined technical content according to project targets
  • Support defining the budget within the account and aligning across projects, and lead team to meet targets
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or relevant engineering degree
  • 4+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development
  • 2+ years experience in project management or leadership role
  • Working knowledge and deep understanding of software development lifecycle and processes
  • Decision making abilities in complex, highly dynamic situations
  • Experience with customer interface
  • Ability to travel up to 10% both domestic and international
Preferred:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to enable and motivate project teams
  • Proven problem solving, analytical skills and innovative thinking.
  • Experience as a SW Architect or SW expert
  • Experience in development for a safety critical system (ISO 26262)
  • Experience in developing software according to ASPICE or CMMI
  • Experience with cyber security features
  • Experience working with DOORS or any requirements management system
  • Experience with Agile development methods
