Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is expected to meet or exceed sales goals for hand and arm protection products within their assigned sales territory. It is the responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager to possess enough knowledge, skills and tools to professionally represent the entire Armor Guys hand and arm protection offering to distributors and end-users. The Regional Sales Manager will also perform the primary function of product performance evaluations and competitive responses on behalf of Armor Guys.

Location:

The region for this position encompasses the states of Arizona and Nevada. The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Phoenix, AZ area, though, candidates that reside in other locations within the region could be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and target prospective accounts in region, pursue leads and follow up accordingly.
  • Understand the target markets for Armor Guys products, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract customers.
  • Effective communication with manager and customers on a regular basis.
  • Manage, train and work with independent manufacturers reps
  • Attend sales calls at end-users and distributors.
  • Attend local tradeshows, training events and major sales opportunities on behalf of the
  • company.
  • Timely follow-up of tradeshow leads in order to maximize the opportunity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market share and profitably grow region.
  • Develop sales plans designed to maximize wallet share at key accounts.
  • Stay abreast of and communicate any and all information related to product issues/changes/regulations that effect the applications of and uses of products.
  • Strategic sampling of products in order to achieve sales goals.
  • Effective use of CRM program to build a sales pipeline and take opportunities through
  • the various stages to close them out.
  • Document major wins and losses with recommendations for improvements.
  • Continually communicate sales progress with manager wins, losses and gaps.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and sales trends of hand and arm protection products within
  • territory by product and customer.
  • Perform glove surveys/audits for key accounts with the focus on converting all
  • competitive hand and arm protection business.
  • Understanding the competitive playing field for hand and arm protection products in
  • the market.
  • Sharing key information related to customers, products, competition, etc. across the
  • company in an effort help better serve our customers and grow our business.
  • Product forecasting
  • Ability to travel 60% or more with frequent overnight travel.
  • Effective management of business-related expenses.
