Duties will include: Job Description: Perform inventory test counts at warehouse facilities Maintain database of all leases and assist with journal entries in accordance with lease accounting standards Assist tax department with license renewals Prepare journal entries for real estate entities Audit duty charged on customs invoices (both US & Canada) and enter for payment Cross train on other accounting functions Other accounting related duties as assigned. Demonstrated Skill in: Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Preparing and maintaining records. Preparing reports. Handling multiple priorities simultaneously. Utilizing computer technology used for communication, data gathering and reporting. Using Microsoft Office including Excel. Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums. Qualifications and Essential Functions: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and 0-3+ years of experience in accounting preferred. CPA a plus. Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
