Experienced in the preparation of contract documents. Strong Geotechnical Project Management experience. Strong experience mentoring, leading, directing, and managing 5+ direct technical staff reports. Must have very strong business development and client relationship experience that is proven by examples and references. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Deep working knowledge of geotechnical software, including gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, and PLAXIS. Experience in geophysical testing and evaluations, including active and passive MASW and ERI. Flexible, willing, and open to travel to conduct field investigations for up to several weeks at a time sometimes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to find solutions to problems. Active participation in professional and community societies. NCEES Records account with the ability to obtain multi-state PE licensure A "get-it-done" attitude MS Degree in Civil Engineering (or related geotechnical specialization), and/or advanced technical training is preferred. Responsibilities: Work alongside a team of high-performing engineering and technical professionals. Review engineering reports, drawings, and specifications. Work in a multi-disciplinary environment with other technical disciplines to fulfill project scope and responsibilities. Oversee the management of geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, engineering evaluations, and technical analyses completed by junior staff. Prepare technical reports and summaries, and interface directly with agencies, clients, co-workers, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations. Complete and review technical analyses prepared by others, including shallow and foundation design, support of excavation, slope stability, ground improvement, and other geotechnical analyses. Lead by example and build an inclusive culture that fosters team growth, learning, creative solutions, and environment and client-focused outcomes. Actively participate in your career growth, including the opportunity to join elective continuing education courses, being involved in community and professional societies, and managing projects and experiences that stretch you outside of your comfort zone to grow you as a professional.
