The Director of Business Systems for Retail and Dining Operations leads a non-IT team focused on the implementation, effectiveness, and enhancements for the key business operating systems used by our Retail and Dining divisions.This role will be a thought leader and partner to initiate, lead and guide the development and implementation of various business systems and enhancements to those systems.This role is a leader of others and will demonstrate innovation and agility while ensuring that we remain ahead of the needs of the business.Supporting strategies and work that optimize the business systems and processes for our Dining and Retail teams in support of our B2B and B2C customer focused goals is a top priority.RESPONSIBILITIES:Acts as the lead Program Manager for the Non-IT COE (Center of Excellence) to support the identification, design, and implementation of systems and best practices to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness in our Retail and Dining operationsPartner with IT, Retail and Dining Field Operations Leadership and vendor community to identify emerging technology that could provide improved customer experience and operating efficiencies as well as protect our competitive advantage and differentiation in the industry.Work closely with our key system partners to participate in their client community to stay abreast of upcoming changes and help shape their solution roadmaps to help ensure our needs are addressed.Coach and lead a team of Managers focused on driving expertise and optimization in areas of Workforce Management, Point of Sale, and SAP.Drive business process improvements and adoption of new business systems to maximize benefits of new investments.Participate in the company's strategic planning process and offer support with initiatives that maximize the use of business systems to drive service and operational excellence.Work closely with Operations, Finance, IT, and Inventory Accounting to determine the scope and requirements of various system enhancements and impact on other areas of the business.Regularly visit locations with field partners to understand things that are working well and areas of opportunity for improvement.Partner closely with the Information Technology team to guide and direct on the prioritization of different development needs.Maintain focus of financial goals and timelines for all system development efforts.Partner with the HR and Learning & Development teams to drive change management and training development for various system enhancements and implementationsWork closely with the Director of Operations for both Dining and Retail along with the VP of LP and Safety to understand their needs and the needs of their teams from a systems perspective.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONSBS/BA degree in related discipline requiredAt least 7-9 years of relevant leadership experience in the retail or dining business, preferably within the travel retail spacePrior Industrial engineering professional experience preferredStrong working knowledge of key operating systems to include SAP, WFM (Blue Yonder Preferred), POS (TCPOS preferred)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong leadership skills and ability to manage a team as well as dotted line partnershipsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Strong business and financial acumen; with a keen ability to analyze KPIs and other metrics to determine areas of opportunityMust be able to quickly estimate the size of an opportunity to ensure that we remain focused on the things that will produce the largest return first.Must have demonstrated success coaching and leading teams.Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details of complex problems and drive creative solutionsIntellectually curious with the ability to act as a thought leader on business trendsThe ability to lead, inspire, and engage a team, peers and other leaders within the organizationSuperior organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to work effectively with internal and external teamsStrong creative thinking skills with the ability to work in an ambiguous environmentAbility to travel with limited notice and support a 24X 7 business
