Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all MSHA and company safety policies.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with both potential and current clients.
  • Project Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to determine timeframes, budget constraints, procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
  • Estimate Preparation: Develop and submit accurate project estimates within designated deadlines.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Solicit bids and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
  • Project Setup: Organize and prepare all necessary documentation for new projects.
  • Change Orders: Assess and price change orders as needed.
  • Project Management: Oversee project personnel activities to ensure projects progress as scheduled and within budget, providing problem-solving advice when required.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Heavy Civil Construction specific to this region.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and specialized project management software.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including fitting and using appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions, including movement and lifting as required.
