Job Overview

Dawood Engineering, Inc. is a leader in providing comprehensive consulting services across various sectors, including Transportation, Energy, and Land Planning/Site Development.

We are currently in search of a Project Engineer - Civil to enhance our capabilities in our engineering divisions. This role involves collaborating with design teams to execute municipal services, land development, and energy initiatives throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to ascertain project specifications, and compile necessary information regarding design, materials, estimated costs, and timelines for project execution.
  • Oversee, schedule, and evaluate the performance of project staff and external consultants.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and technical research on civil planning matters.
  • Design project layouts while considering site conditions and potential environmental implications.
  • Develop preliminary and final plans for subdivisions and land development projects.
  • Prepare and submit necessary permit applications for land development and energy-related projects.
  • Draft layout, grading, profiles, and stormwater management plans and documentation.
  • Generate construction documents, including design specifications and bidding materials.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT Certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as needed.
