Classification: Exempt Job Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of key frontline and professional recruiting and retention strategies. Strong Talent Management leader who can provide strategy, guidance, and expertise for end-to-end talent acquisition, management, and succession planning. Designs and monitors key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and retention efforts. This position is responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, and placement of prospective candidates for various position levels (majority of the positions will be for sales, parts/warehouse, corporate and other professional positions). The ideal person will be results-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate multi-tasking abilities which are essential for this position. Essential Functions: Ensures Company meets or exceeds strategic recruiting requirements. Develops and implements recruitment, staffing, and retention strategies that support business objectives, improve employee and business performance, and gain a return on investment for the business. Monitors staffing levels. Develops recruitment metrics with the management team that drives optimal staffing performance. Collaborates with HR team and other departments to continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes. Directs recruiting initiatives including integration of assessment tools, employment branding, employee referral program, relocation, and interview skills training. Collaborates with Managers to identify and develop key outreach sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants. Directs internal and external recruitment and placement activities and relationship building with businesses, government and community service agencies, colleges, high schools, employment agencies, and search firms. Sources through ATS system, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards for viable candidates. Reviews job fit requirements with hiring manager(s), getting a solid understanding of specific requirements and expectations of each job. Develops solutions that will support the hiring needs of high volume/in-season staffing. Identifies, organizes, and participates in Job Fairs and recruiting events. Understands the hiring challenges in the external labor market and identifies market-specific sourcing strategies. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a business-oriented field preferred. 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of sound decision making, taking ownership, complex problem-solving, and delivering results. Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross-functional environment, including senior members of the business. Ability to adapt well to an environment of fast-paced change, while being able to strategically prioritize. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner. Ability to communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders with executive presence and strong presentation skills. Typical Physical Activity: Sitting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, typing, talking, and hearing. Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel.
