Career Transitions seeks a dedicated, detail-oriented onsite Customer Service Representative to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing product and service information to ensure a positive customer experience. What you will be doing as a Customer Service Representative: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. Process orders, returns, and exchanges using the company's ERP system (link removed)> Maintain and update customer accounts, including shipping and billing information. Collaborate with various departments (sales, production, logistics) to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve customer issues. Track orders and provide accurate updates to customers regarding order status, shipping, and delivery times. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability. Manage customer complaints, troubleshoot issues, and escalate more complex cases to the appropriate team. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs). Generate reports and provide data to management as needed. What you will need as a Customer Service Representative: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
