Job Summary:

Managing an organization's financial information and ensuring its accuracy. Accounting involves the recording and reporting of financial transactions while finance deals with managing the organization's financial resources and making decisions that maximize its value. The accounting and finance function is responsible for creating financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They also oversee tax compliance, cash and risk management, and manage the organization's investments. This function informs stakeholders of the organization's financial health, and their decisions impact the allocation of resources and the organization's ability to grow and succeed. By providing insights into the organization's financials, the accounting and finance function helps to guide decision-making and ensure that the organization is operating efficiently and effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans and projections
  • Analyze financial performance and key metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management to support strategic initiatives
  • Reconcile, understand, and confirm our financial data to ensure integrity of the company's financial information and support the monthly financial closing process
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance of financial information
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess business performance and forecast future trends
  • Conduct variance analysis against plan budgets and forecasts, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for cost optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, effectively communicating complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in Accounting or FP&A roles
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Macros, ERP systems)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial reporting and analysis


Work locations of each position will be determined during the hiring process. Each work location will depend on business needs and the essential functions of the position.
