Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our Creative Team. The ideal candidate has agency experience, a strong background managing social media, and leading content production. They possess a Can-Do attitude and Grit. They don’t check the box, but constantly think outside of it.
We work with some of the top franchise services brands like The Joint Chiropractic, Amazing Lash Studio, and Drybar. We are performance driven, culturally minded, and strategic in everything we do. Join us and create everything from viral TikToks to national brand video campaigns. At OTT we don’t just measure results, we thrive on effectiveness and what moves the needle.
You will report directly to our Creative Services Manager and work alongside our very talented (and fun) hybrid creative team consisting of an Art Director, Videographer, Editor, Graphic Designer, and (best in class) freelancers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production of social media content including: talent acquisition (content creators and actors), securing locations, and ensuring clients and crew involved have a clear understanding of their roles and the project's objectives.
Spend up to 7 days a month in our Lake Forest, CA studio. Your hands-on participation in the creative process is essential and it’s fun.
Help design and implement social media strategy for clients including: The Joint Chiropractic and Amazing Lash Studio accounts. Current platforms include TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Lead social copywriting and ensure post copy is on brand and meets the objectives.
You will manage our primary social media channels, including Meta and TikTok, overseeing strategy and coordination with our social media team.
Staying on top of trends, platform updates, and analyzing content performance that translates into actionable insights.
Capabilities Needed
Excellent project management skills to manage the workflow of social media content creation from concept to delivery.
A team player and can-do attitude with the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a creative team environment and ability to roll with whatever comes your way.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Must have experience working in a creative in-house or agency environment.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
2 years of video and content production experience.
In-depth knowledge of Meta and TikTok platforms and their best practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and high degree of professionalism on all client and internal communications.
