An ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role should be savvy in Excel, have experience with ERP systems or various Accounting systems, have excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain a team-oriented environment. The Senior Accountant should also possess the ability to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements and meet timelines in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates and have strong integrity and ethics. A self-motivated, reliable individual who can perform the following: Accounting Responsibilities Prepare state sales & use tax returns and have a strong understanding of sales tax regulations. Prepare general ledger balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt, and intercompany activity. Manage expense management program and policies. Manage and reconcile lease amortization schedules. Prepare and analyze month end entries, including accruals, allocations, and eliminations. Prepare reports and analyses as needed for management in a detailed and timely manner. Manage accounting for the holding company and prepare consolidated financial statements. Provide payroll review and payroll processing back-up support. Other Responsibilities Assist Corporate Controller and CFO in various accounting projects. Function as a backup for various functions in the Finance Team. Skills / Experience necessary Bachelor's degree in accounting. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
