The HR Culture Partner is responsible for implementing initiatives to enhance employee experience, engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture across the Grafton footprint. This role also provides employee relations service, training, consultative guidance, and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters within a specified region.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Designs, implements, and oversees comprehensive employee experience, culture, and engagement initiatives, including recognition, reward, and training programs, to drive a positive and impactful organizational culture.
  • Conducts regular surveys, focus groups, exit interviews, and feedback sessions to assess employee experience levels and to assist in the development of solutions across the organization.
  • Conducts regular assessments and data analysis to measure employee satisfaction and retention identify areas for improvement, and create action plans to improve. Prepares and presents reports on employee experience and engagement trends and progress.
  • Coordinates and manages employee events and activities that foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective internal communication channels to keep employees informed and engaged. Crafts and distributes newsletters, updates, and engagement materials.
  • Serves as a HR Business Partner to a designated region including:
    • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
    • Coach managers and employees to ensure that recurring HR processes are completed appropriately and on time. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Provides consistent, strategic employee relations consultation to managers and employees to resolve employee issues and advise on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination.
    • Participates in or conduct regular meetings with respective business units to ensure business literacy and to provide updates on HR-related topics. Develops presentations and reports for HR-related business meetings.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in HR, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or business-related field.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, preferred
  • 2+ years of related HR experience
  • 3+ years of employee relations experience
  • Long distance travel or air travel, not expected to exceed 23% travel
  • Working knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations
  • Employee engagement or culture coach experience preferred
