This position requires 7 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. Preferred degree in Warehouse Management with a minor in IT or relevant years of experience, including implementation of new warehouse management software.

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

* Responsible for all Warehouse and Inventory Management related activities including, but not limited to, multi-warehouse shipping and receiving functions, material handling, picking/kitting, customer packaging, material movements and systemic transactions across all associated warehousing and distribution areas.

* Includes responsibility for shipping & receiving metrics as well as transactional and inventory accuracy metrics.

* Must have the ability to lead Departmental meetings as well as support and present at Administrative report outs and strategic meetings.

* Is actively engaged as a Leader of Safety initiatives throughout all facilities.

* Provides strategic direction for future logistics structure while improving internal support to manufacturing, planning, sales, Engineering and NPI.

* May act as a company representative to outside Carriers, Suppliers and Customers. Leverages knowledge of Inventory Control Best Practices with IT to improve current process.

* Supports projects with lean focus and Continuous Improvement throughout the Logistics chain.

* Coordinates employee actions for subordinates to include evaluations, discipline, training, testing and career development.

* Other duties as assigned
