ITT is hiring a Sr. Human Resources (HR) Manager to provide leadership and support to our Micro Mode connectors business. This HR Business Partner role will be based out of our El Cajon, CA location and report to the Vice President of HR for our Connect and Control Technologies (CCT) Value Center, and to the management of the Micro Mode site. The successful candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of employment practices and requirements in the State of California.
Location: preferred location is El Cajon, CA surrounding area.
This is not a remote or hybrid role.
Essential Responsibilities:Your role is critical in partnering with the business to develop and execute our people initiatives:
- Attracting, growing and retaining high-quality talent;
- Enabling efficient, scalable, and customer-centric HR processes and operations; as well as
- Driving a culture of performance, learning and employee engagement.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Leveraging strong Change Management
In addition, the successful candidate will:
- Partner with the Micro Mode management team and CCT HR leadership to develop, implement and deploy the enterprise People strategy in a way that delivers maximum value, identifying specific requirements to attract, engage, develop and reward the best talent
- Ensure the Micro Mode site is compliant with U.S. and California employment laws
- Support integration and consistency across Micro Mode and ITT HR processes and systems
- Use a data-driven approach to identify and address business challenges; exercise business and financial acumen to deliver impactful HR solutions
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person, as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (I.e., Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Position Requirements:- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Business Partner roles, including at least 3 years supporting HR for a manufacturing facility with overtime eligible employees
- University/College Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study is required;
- Proven ability to learn and effectively use diverse technological platforms, including HRIS (Workday experience preferred); proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is strongly desired (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with time keeping systems such as Kronos/UKG
Additional Qualifications
- A proven track record of combining an understanding of the business (including goals, strategies, culture and challenges) with a well-developed consultative approach, to partner with business leadership in creating and implementing solutions which positively help the business achieve its objectives
- Track record of leading HR transition and integration activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures
- Experience in broad, business-centered HR support with a history of leading initiatives
- Ability to synthesize diverse data-points and follow up with appropriate recommendations in line with our strategic initiatives
- Well-rounded HR background ideally with experience in Change Management, Talent & Development, HR Analytics, Employee/Labor Relations, and Recruiting/Onboarding
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage at all levels of the organization
- Intimate knowledge of HR strategies and processes, as well as current market trends and potential future HR trends
- Experience investigating and resolving employee relations matters

Pay-for-performance is a principle that we believe in, and employees are rewarded based not only on what they accomplish, but also on how they reflect ITTs values. ITT offers a competitive salary and robust total rewards package, such as health insurance, 401(k), short and long-term disability, paid time off, growth and developmental opportunities, and other incentive compensation programs. Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Equal Pay Act Range:
Annual Salary Range is $124,800 to $186,800, plus benefits & incentive plans.
