The Recruiter position will provide strategic talent acquisition support for identifying, screening, interviewing and recommending qualified candidates to meet the needs of the business. The Recruiter serves as a consultative partner to the HR and Hiring Manager teams and seeks opportunities to provide best in class customer service through the interviewing and hiring process. This position will create and implement creative talent acquisition strategies for the Stockbridge Distribution Center and some Corporate Functions. Please note, this is a seasonal assignment, dependent on business need.

85% Recruiting

  • Independently manage the search and selection process for distribution center associates, early career and other niche skill positions
  • Post positions to Company career site and other specialty job boards, including social media accounts
  • Reviews resumes, screens candidates, maintains requisitions, and dispositions all candidate within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday
  • Coordinates phone screens and onsite interviews in a timely manner, including job fair preparation, mass hiring events, and all other recruiting events
  • Drafts and executes offer letters, coordinates background and drug screening for candidates as needed
  • Ensures consistency, efficiency and compliance with federal, state and local laws, and company policies. Ensure all TA activities are compliant with the established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures including maintaining appropriate recordkeeping

15% Employee Engagement/Relations

  • First point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, etc.
  • Schedule and support execution of Skip Levels, Town Halls, Birthday Chats, Lunch & Learns, HR Meetings, Community Events, Monthly Associate Appreciation, Chat n Chew sessions, etc.
  • Maintain employee communication boards/monitors

Must have:

  • High School diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal customer service skills are required, while dealing with both internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, specifically in creating documents, and data entry
  • Proficient in Excel and all other Microsoft Suite applications
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, understanding, aligning, delivering and following-up with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated success working within a matrix organization and team environment, while meeting/exceeding expectations
  • Demonstrated success with multi-tasking and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment, while maintaining clear focus on all priorities
  • Ability to support HR related data, employee pay and salary with the upmost confidentiality and professional discretion
  • Must be available to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment, flexible to work different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs.
  • Must be able to work for long periods including daily overtime, and overtime as required.
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience
  • Corporate experience, in order to understand full cycle recruiting workflow and HR compliance
  • Distribution or Supply Chain experience
  • Previous relative experience with recruiting support in a distribution, call center, or large retail or service organization a plus.
