Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible and accountable for directing and administering a group of 10 or more Banking Centers to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives through the development of deposits, assets, and fee based services. Coordinates the activities of the banking center with other departments of the Bank. Work as the sales liaison with other lines of business and subsidiaries such as WesBanco Mortgage, WesBanco Securities, and WesBanco Insurance in order to accomplish market and regional goals. Participates with appropriate management personnel in the establishment of an effective marketing program for each banking center. Evaluates potential prospects in the region and implement various programs across all lines of business to accomplish desired profit plan goals. Studies reports and statistics to analyze individual banking center performance and detect trends, evaluate operations and services to determine their adequacy and develop recommendations for change as appropriate. Reviews and evaluates regular reports of branch activities including staffing, loans, deposits, overdrafts, charge-offs, and audits to meet market/regional profit and performance objectives. Works with Regional Operations Specialist to ensure that all banking center managers consistently and uniformly apply bank policies and standard operating procedures. Identifies questionable actions, operational inefficiencies, and problems and follow through with resolutions. Ensures physical property and equipment is adequate and in proper working order and delegate work as needed. Assist the President in determining the physical franchise is up to date in the market from a competitive standpoint. Conducts meetings and maintains a high level of communication within the region. Supervises and coordinates the preparation of the annual budget for the banking centers, administer allotted funds in accordance with the budget and approved fiscal procedures, recommend capital expenditures for planning and bank development. Has extensive contact with customers, the public and the community, and is expected to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing efforts of the Bank. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.
