We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quality Systems Compliance Manager to lead our Quality and Compliance operational plans. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team of dedicated quality professionals, develop and implement robust quality plans and procedures, and ensure our quality management systems continuously improve. Your leadership will be critical in aligning quality goals with organizational objectives and managing key quality certifications and audits.

This is a hybrid role that requires weekly onsite presence based in Winston-Salem, NC. Anticipated travel is 20% (international and domestic travel anticipated).

What You Will Do:
  • Quality Plan Development: Design and implement comprehensive program quality plans and procedures to meet and exceed quality targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and manage plans, guidelines, and policies to ensure the continuous improvement of quality processes and operational efficiency.
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead organizational projects and process improvements to drive overall quality enhancements across multiple sites.
  • Certification Administration: Oversee AS9100 certification for the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Audit Management: Facilitate corporate audits, manage the internal audit program, and ensure rigorous adherence to quality standards.
  • Representation and Governance: Act as a representative on the Corporate Quality Management Team and Governance Council, advocating for quality initiatives across various sites.
  • Document Management: Administer the Document Management System and ensure efficient documentation practices.
  • Quality Management Reviews: Facilitate Quality Management Reviews with cross-functional leadership to evaluate and improve quality processes.
  • Process Optimization: Update, troubleshoot, and optimize quality processes to strengthen the site's Quality Management System (QMS) framework.
  • Strategic Goals: Lead initiatives to achieve a reduction in documentation and collaborate with other departments to align on strategic quality goals.
  • Data Analytics: Drive data analytics efforts to provide insights and support quality improvement strategies.
  • Supplier and Process Compliance: Ensure that the quality of suppliers, products, and processes comply with internal and regulatory standards and are subject to continuous improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with AS9100 processes and certification activities is preferred.
  • Certified Auditor experience is preferred.
  • Quality background/working experience in regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Proven experience in writing and revising quality procedures.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role (20% anticipated - including international).

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
