Our client, a prominent home care services organisation, is seeking a talented and driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support their recruitment efforts. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the candidate database, conducting applicant screenings, scheduling interviews, and providing support throughout the on boarding process.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Human Resources team to ensure the candidate database is up to date and handle necessary paperwork. Maintain the recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by keeping records of candidates and vacancies. Schedule interviews, manage calendars, answer calls, and respond to emails. Conduct initial applicant screenings to ensure minimum hiring requirements are met. Engage in telephone conversations with prospective candidates to verify their experience, skills, career aspirations, and motivations for joining our client. Coordinate and schedule interviews for both interviewers and candidates. Utilise various job sites, LinkedIn, and social media platforms to source and recruit potential candidates. Prepare and post job advertisements online and on social media platforms. Collect and compile HR documents, creating staff files. Assist successful candidates during the onboarding process by providing guidance, answering questions, and preparing necessary documents. Prepare and submit outgoing reference requests. Verify and submit employee references. Conduct background checks, including Right to Work verification, identity verification, and submitting and contacting references. Ensure compliance with valid Right to Work and DBS checks for existing staff members. Analyse recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve performance. Provide information and assistance on recruitment matters to management and staff. Attend staff meetings to provide necessary updates when required. Perform any other related duties as required.Person Specification:

Essential experience, skills, or attitudes:

Minimum of one year's experience in a recruitment role, with a good understanding of relevant recruitment legislation, policies, and procedures. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Familiarity with standard hiring practises, such as scheduling interviews and onboarding processes. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
