The ED Patient Registration Representative will enjoy interacting with patients and registering them for their care. The ED Patient Registration Representative will accurately perform administrative duties required for patient registration including entering demographic and insurance information and collecting copays. As a liaison to patients the community and healthcare professionals this position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure delivery of the highest quality customer service. The emergency department registration work environment is high-volume fast-paced and requires the ability to greet patients and families upon arrival and provide unsurpassed customer service to patients presenting to the emergency department with medical emergencies including cardiac complaints stroke symptoms traumas and other emergencies. In the emergency department registration is initiated at the welcome desk in the lobby and is completed in the patient?s room after the patient has seen a care provider. Emergency department registration staff also work closely with the clinical staff to help patients receive care as efficiently as possible.

1 Year Healthcare Registration Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Hours of Work:
Every other Saturday and Sunday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Every Other
