Role Overview: As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success by supporting our employees and fostering a positive work environment. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our team members while ensuring adherence to HR policies and best practices.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Human Resources Specialist based in our Lake Forest, CA.

This role is based full time in office.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new hires.
  • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails from Associates, on a wide array of HR & Payroll topics.
  • Consistent follow-up with all Associate issues and concerns as assigned.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate Company policies, procedures, and guidelines to all Associates.
  • Must be able to identify violations of Company policies, procedures, and guidelines swiftly and accurately.
  • Assists the HR team by creating and disseminating reports for various departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and foster a cohesive team environment.

Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
  • Hourly Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.50

The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Department needs may call for occasional overtime

  • Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial or mortgage industry.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations and experience translating that knowledge into effective decisions when dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; apply good judgment in decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and strong human relations skills.
  • Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
