POSITION SUMMARY:

The planning team of The Azek Company is seeking a Senior Demand and Supply Planner to develop and implement effective demand planning and inventory management strategies across the organization. In this pivotal role, your expertise will drive the efficiency and accuracy of supply chain operations, ensuring optimal product availability across our multi-site manufacturing facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure efficient inventory management, forecasting, and planning to support operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain demand plans for parts inventory across markets, incorporating input from sales, key customer accounts, marketing, and historical data. Directly collaborate with key distributors of AZEK by active listening and follow up.
  • Create supply plan based on the consensus demand plan and resolve supply-demand issues. Smooth load the plants over a mid-long term horizon accounting for seasonality of customer demand
  • Create plan for every part and target inventory ranges for every part.
  • Monitor inventory levels, fill rates, and inventory turnover metrics, and obsolete inventory, implementing strategies to optimize levels, ensure product availability, and enhance inventory turnover.
  • Asist in implementation of demand planning strategies, focusing on improving forecast bias, forecast stability and contribute cross-functionally to tasks including new product introductions, lifecycle management, and commercial team projects.
  • Review forecasts and key performance indicators, conducting trend analysis, identifying opportunities and risks, and recommending appropriate revisions for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. The degree requirement may be waived if the candidate can demonstrate relevant transferable skills.

Preferred Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in SI&OP, production, demand, or supply planning within a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Preferred Professional Skills:

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of demand planning and inventory management methods and procedures.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities, including the capability to explain data and findings toa non-technical audience.

Analytical Abilities: Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis.

Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and build relationships with both internal team members and external partners.

Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities.

Problem Solving: Ability to identify problems, analyst and evaluate information, and determine effective solutions.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with advanced skills in Excel. Experience with JDE preferred.

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role based in Wilmington, OH is $74,300 to $119,500 In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
