The Director will support University and Enrollment Division goals by coordinating the planning, processing, and reading of graduate admission applications. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management and University Marketing, the Director participates in the strategic planning and implementation of graduate recruitment-related marketing, programs, and technology. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Successfully manage the recruitment, engagement, and enrollment of qualified graduate students Serve as the primary liaison for University Departments including graduate councils, Strategic Enrollment Management groups, off-site and online locations, testing, and articulation agreements Stay abreast of graduate enrollment trends and make recommendations to the Senior Vice President regarding policy and practices Represent the University in a speaking capacity at on-and-off campus student programs Demonstrate creative thinking, initiative, and dynamic leadership Participate in extensive travel by air and automobile, both in and out of state; international travel may be required Oversee Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Correspond weekly with graduate faculty of admitted students Serve as a member of the Enrollment Management and University Marketing leadership team Ensure production and validate all reports related to graduate enrollments Day-to-day supervision of graduate team Perform other site and position specific duties as assigned Required Skills: Demonstrated enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Exceptional management skills Ability to be well-organized, comfortable with data and research, manage multiple priorities, and exhibit grace under pressure Ability to utilize current recruitment software and other technology A high energy level and willingness to travel extensively at times Support the University’s Mission and Values in their role Required Experience: A minimum of five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions at the Associate or Director level Desire to join a distinct university community committed to inclusive excellence, kindness, and collaboration Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Experience with SCT Banner and Technolutions Slate
