Employee Services has an immediate need for a full-time skilled Counselor. The Counselor will provide counseling and case management for our EAP members who call for immediate support as well as face to face sessions at our Brooklyn OH location. Primary responsibilities include conducting telephonic triage, assessment, providing in the moment support and coordinating resources, seeing members for brief solution focused therapy and referral. This is a hybrid position, and the successful candidate may provide onsite support or training to client organizations and must have the ability to work in our Brooklyn, OH office as needed to see our members face to face.

Master's degree is the minimum academic requirement .

The successful candidate must have a current Behavioral Health Clinician license in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts telehealth and in person intake assessments and triage, providing in the moment support to members on issues, including but not limited to behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life, and coordinates resources.
  • Provide onsite support and training to client organizations.
  • Coordinates and completes case management of intakes.
  • Makes clinical determinations in adherence with Company risk policy and in the member and Company's best interest.
  • Provides referrals to service provider network and/or other resources as appropriate for financial concerns, legal concerns, personal assistant, and work-life requests.
  • Consults with service providers to make referrals and complete session authorizations. Follows cases to completion.
  • Utilizes computer-based case management system to complete professional documentation.
  • Consults with Human Resources and supervisory personnel from client companies regarding employee issues and concerns.
  • Maintains industry knowledge and ethical code.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)

Current Behavioral Health Clinician license in the state of Ohio
