SENIOR ANALYST/ MANAGER FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (HYBRID)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager in the Financial Planning & Analysis group plays an integral role in preparing, validating, and analyzing local and corporate management reporting and supporting various annual and quarterly financial planning activities (e.g., budgeting and forecasting). In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst/Manager primarily provides direct business partnering support to BDI Sales & Marketing Senior Directors and product leads. The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and is based in the Company’s Monroe, New Jersey office on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop financial models and analyses to support the partnership with BDI Sales & Marketing team
Prepare monthly sales, gross margin and P&L reporting packages versus budget and prior year and preparation of variance explanations
Compile annual budget and quarterly forecasts of Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Margin, and overall Profit & Loss Statement
Validate monthly activity for corporate management reporting
Support the creation, distribution, and maintenance of reporting tools
Perform analysis and data mining in SAP and in BW reporting tool
Support maintenance of key financial master data in SAP, including Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Internal Orders, and WBS project codes
Provide support to FP&A team members with various financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting activities related to the Americas markets and entities
Assist with the harmonization of processes, reporting, and analyses for Americas markets and entities
Special projects and ad-hoc analyses
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Experienced Finance professional with seven-plus years of experience working in a product-based company or professional services firm
Ability to prioritize tasks, analyses, and projects with limited supervision
Ability to work efficiently and independently with a high level of accuracy and productivity
Demonstrated ability to ask probing questions and determine root causes of issues
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Experience with SAP, Hyperion, SmartView, BEX Analyzer, and BW reporting environment
Advanced skills in Excel
Finance/Accounting background with MBA and/or CPA a plus
