Director, High Performance Doors Sales The Director of High Performance Door (HPD) Sales is responsible for directing, managing, and overseeing all North American HPD sales, marketing, distribution, and sales support activities to achieve sales and profitability growth in the HPD distribution channel and potential industrial market segments. This role drives and/or participates in activities that result in the improvement of all distributor sales and gross margin performance. The Director, High Performance Doors Sales, is also responsible for developing and assisting dealers and distributors to help them grow their business. What you will be doing Develop and formulate short and long term sales objectives and plans for approval. Contribute to sales plans that will significantly grow market share and contribute to 4Front Sales and Net Operating Profit (NOP) growth. Routinely meet and discuss with the VP, Sales and Marketing to strategize on these objectives. Develop and manage the internal operating budget for the assigned sales business unit. Directly supervise the North American Sales Sr. Manager, Segment Sales Managers, and Inside Sales Specialists and mentor them to best utilize their time and maximize sales. Coach and develop subordinates on “how to motivate” and develop relationships with their distributors. Collaborate with subordinates to devise sales strategies for increasing/retaining market penetration and sales volumes. Provide leadership support and direction for the management of assigned dealers and/or distributors to achieve targeted sales growth objectives. Relentlessly drive sales through dealers and/or distributors by personally assisting them in the selling process. Through visits, observation and sales reports, continually evaluate and monitor dealer, distributor, and HPD team sales performance. Carry out sales activities on major and critical developing client accounts through personal contact, including negotiating price and other conditions of sale to enhance retention and maximization of major account revenue potential. Coordinate the management of all other accounts. Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospective customers of various solutions the company offers to their business issues. Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers. Develop and monitor plans to ensure optimum use of resources with dealers, distributors, and HPD team to attain assigned targets and objectives. Provide executive level direction and oversight of initiatives for successful sales results. Adjust as needed for maximum success and quick results. Achieve or exceed annual sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress against objectives. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Travel up to 60%. What we are looking for Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or related discipline, or relevant work experience preferred. 10+ years of sales experience with several years in a senior-level sales supervisory position having significant business impact. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred with a focus on inside/outside sales of aftermarket products and services, capital equipment, industrial goods, or related products. Experience in managing sales for national accounts, multiple market segments, and/or through dealer/distributor networks is preferred. Experience in strategic planning and execution.
