Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab is right off of I-75 in theheart of Woodlawn. We are seeking an Activities Director to join our team
Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab, a 122 bed Long Term Careand Rehab facility, has been faithfully serving the Cincinnati community formany years with a history of providing excellent nursing care and successfulrehabilitation services. We are currently seeking a Certified Activity Directorto join our team full-time, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing thequality of life for our residents. In this position you will plan, organize,and oversee a wide range of engaging activities that promote physical, mental,and emotional well-being, and supervise the day-to-day operation of theactivity department. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to servingseniors, are highly energetic and organized, and are compassionate team membersthat will love working with our residents and staff. With a commitment toexcellence, you will ensure that our residents enjoy fulfilling experiencesthat enrich their lives every day. Must have past experience in an activityrole in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The primary purpose of your job position is to plan,organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Departmentin accordance with; current federal, state and local standards, guidelines andregulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed bythe Administrator, to assure that an ongoing program of activities designed tomeet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and thephysical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident is maintained.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist, OTAssistant or a Certified Activities Professional.
- Must have 2 years experience in a patientactivities program in a healthcare setting.
