Global Business Development Manager

We are in search of a seasoned and knowledgeable Global Business Development Manager to join our team in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. As a Global Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities and drive global growth. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and ensuring business success.

Your duties will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise and execute business development strategies aligned with our company's goals. Additionally, you'll focus on fostering and sustaining robust relationships with potential and existing customers, alongside monitoring market trends and competitor activities.

To excel in this role, you must possess a profound understanding of the global logistics and supply chain market, impeccable communication and negotiation skills, and a demonstrated track record in business development. Effective analysis of market data, identification of growth opportunities, and formulation of strategic business plans are crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, adept networking skills, relationship-building proficiency, and deal-closing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Devise and execute global business development strategies to maximize company growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to pinpoint potential growth areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development plans. Engage in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to showcase company products and services. Monitor competitor activities and market developments to stay abreast of industry trends. Provide regular reports on business development activities, including sales forecasts and pipeline management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics and supply chain industry. Extensive knowledge of global logistics and supply chain practices and trends. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Proficient negotiation and closing skills. Capability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Willingness to travel internationally as necessary. Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
