JOB SUMMARY: The Revenue Integrity Analyst is responsible for performing daily audits to support the accurate and timely capture of all department charges. Reviewing census, schedules and discharges. Tracking and reporting audit findings. Back up chargemaster maintenance person. Responsible for keeping departments up to date on CPT, HCPCS coding changes. Daily review of ED level charges, ED procedures, injections, infusion and other administrations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
  1. Coding Certification preferred.
  2. Hospital billing experience
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Customer Services experience required.
  8. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent required.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely review of department charges.

Daily review of ED level charges, ED procedures, injections, infusions and administration charges

Gathering and reporting findings.

Research and resolve billing and coding issues.

Assists with education to clinical service line in regards to coding and billing.

Recommends new chargemaster maintenance and/or items to enhance revenue based on audit findings.

Assists with review of changes in pricing, CPT codes, HCPCS codes and revenue codes for accuracy and compliance with all applicable charging and billing guidelines
