If you’re ready to join a company where what you do makes a difference and you have pride in the work you are doing, talk to us about joining the Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation family **Job Description** Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Lead Tax Analyst is responsible for the preparation, review, and timely filing of U.S. federal and state income tax filings, including, quarterly estimates, extensions, and tax returns. In addition, the Senior Tax Analyst will assist in the preparation of the quarterly and year-end global income tax provisions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing tax research, assisting in U.S. federal, state, and foreign income tax audits, responding to notices and assisting with other tax return filings. This role would be on a hybrid schedule based out of our Milwaukee, WI headquarters location. **Responsibilities** + Preparation of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions, including collecting/analyzing financial data and ASC740 calculations. + Prepare and review U.S. Federal Form 1120 pro forma and consolidated returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data and completing required forms. + Prepare and review U.S. federal compliance for foreign companies, including Forms 5471 and 8858. + Prepare and review state and local income and franchise tax returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data, preparing state allocation and apportionment schedules, and completing required forms. + Prepare and review calculation of quarterly tax estimates for U.S. federal, state, and local and franchise tax purposes. + Perform research and prepare calculations relating to specific tax positions, issues, and special projects relating to domestic or international tax. + Assist in the coordination and management of U.S. federal, state and local and foreign income tax audits. + Assist in tax planning focused on minimizing business related taxes. + Initiate and assist in the implementation of departmental process improvements.
