Tax Manager

Our partner is hiring a Tax Manager to assist with tax compliance and planning. You will lead tax-related assignments, stay informed of changing tax laws, ensure compliance, and minimize tax liabilities for clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring budget allocations are met
  • Supervise and complete tax preparation and maintain continuous client contact throughout the year
  • Keep informed of changing tax laws and participate in training
  • Delegate work tasks as needed to staff based on capabilities and provide guidance and feedback
  • Participate in business development and community events
  • Collaborate with partners and other tax professionals to deliver exceptional client service

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field required
  • Minimum 6 years experience in public accounting
  • CPA, EA, or equivalent certification required
  • Strong knowledge of individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring staff
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
