JOB DESCRIPTION The HR Coordinator will complete administrative duties for the HR department, including support of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and payroll processing, as well as provide administrative support to the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up, detailed work, and communication throughout the candidate’s lifecycle from recruiting to onboarding, performance review, and off-boarding. This includes background check processing, employee onboarding presentations, and the I-9 verification process. Manage, process, and prepare candidate paperwork related to the interview and onboarding process requirements; save/file documents in employee files. Facilitate calendar management and scheduling of required meetings. Draft employee-focused communications for distribution to large audiences. Support, research, and implement programs to exemplify the candidate and employee experience, including planning events. Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and/or other HR programs. Support the payroll department with the processing of payroll tasks. Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions, preparing company correspondence. Assist with the recruitment process by tracking the status of candidates in HRIS. Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions, including meeting scheduling as requested. Process mail. Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, and/or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years of administration experience, preferably in the Human Resources field. Excellent customer focus with a positive customer service demeanor. Accurate data entry skills with a focus on details. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals and/or assigned tasks. Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records. Demonstrable track record of being highly organized and prioritizing work under pressure to meet deadlines. Demonstrate a passion for learning and applying new knowledge. Excellent professional judgment and decision-making skills; is comfortable in taking the initiative and working independently. Be adept at learning new software and web-based tools. Goal-oriented and self-motivated. This position requires 5% travel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with database systems. Experience with programs such as Greenhouse, Paychex, UKG, and/or Google Suite. Knowledge of wage withholding orders, VOE & unemployment claims.
