Franklin Apartment Management, a premier property manager located in San Antonio Texas has an opening for a LIHTC Compliance Specialist.

The Senior Compliance Specialist will assist the SVP and Regional Director in all areas regarding compliance with city, state, and federal housing programs. They will help manage a set of communities and to ensure their compliance activities are correct and aligned with city, state, and federal housing programs.

Essential Job Functions and Associated Task

  • Assist the SVP of MF Operations
  • Trains and supports staff and acts as a resource for site staff regarding the site's compliance programs
  • Perform annual and quarterly reviews/audits and state reporting
  • Monitors compliance with applicable city, county, state, federal and other local laws as they relate to housing program/policy
  • Actively participate with property management team to ensure a great housing experience is available to all residents
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and consistent use of Onesite software
  • Complete other projects as assigned
Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years' experience administering federal compliance housing programs
  • 5+ years working in a property management field

This position requires traveling between communities, spending time auditing files for completeness and compliance and training new leasing employees and community managers.
