The focus will be maintaining the inventory records and analyzing inventory trends and work closely with the operations team to ensure inventory is accurate to support business requirements. Other internal stakeholders include supporting material teams to comply with audit requirements and ensure controls are in place. **Responsibilities** * Generate and maintain monthly inventory models. * Monitor, analyze inventory data to identify trends, deliver actionable results; make recommendations to align with internal business targets. * Develop strong relationships with global TOPCON sites; monitor inventory change drivers/indicators and develops recommendations aligned with targets. * Track allocation of material and COGS against monthly financial targets. * Review financial entries related to cost centers and inventory. * Works independently in analyzing complex inventory problems and identifies root cause of anomalies with solutions to management. * Make on going recommendations to improve processes. * Conduct costs analysis and make cost control recommendations. * Reconcile data from global sites to corporate financials. * Perform and supervise cycle counts and investigate missing inventory. * Works with finance to prepare month end financial close. * Participate in and prepare data, documents for inventory audits. * Oversee and facilitate all inventory and manufacturing order transactions within the ERP system. * Manage and generate inventory adjustments and transfers in ERP system. * New part creation, managing master data, and performing BOM maintenance . * for all products. **Qualifications** * Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business or a related field. * A minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory and Cost Accounting experience is required. * Strong experience as a solid user of SAP a Plus. * Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point. * Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP BI, etc. a plus. * Superior analytical skills with the ability to grasp key points from complex details. * Ability to covert data into information and deliver actionable results * Ability to manage multiple inventory locations globally. * Must possess an understanding of the entire fulfillment cycle. Process, process flows, inventories, variances and counting techniques. * Good negotiation skills with customer service-oriented attitude. * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Highly organized and detail oriented. * Must have the ability to effectively resolve problems and to prioritize work schedules. * Understanding of systems and processes utilized in the reconcilement and analysis of materials and inventory. * Familiar with standard inventory and/or supply chain KPIs. * Solution focused. * Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
