System Administrator

The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership, strategy, and analytical skills to improve Booz Allen's delivery to our clients. You'll work individually or in a small integrated team, and lead a task, project, or team. You will ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers. You'll provide expertise in the engineering design, development, direction, and implementation of enterprise network cyber defense capabilities. You will apply familiarity with the utilization, configuration, and implementation of Linux and Windows administration, ansible playbooks, or VMware administration.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a system administrator

  • 2+ years of experience with operating and maintaining Linux servers, including operating systems

  • Experience with installing and configuring devices, applications, and security tools

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, or Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities

  • DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Gigamon, Ansible, Fidelis, or Suricata

  • Experience with Cloud Enterprise and authorizing Cloud systems, and Cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with Zero-Trust Architecture

  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC and CaC, IT Infrastructure Library, and IT Service Management

  • Experience with scripting in PowerShell and BASH command line interfaces or Python or Perl scripting languages

  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
