What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at CSS, you'll be an integral part of our data-driven development team, contributing to the evolution of cutting-edge internal tools. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

What the team focuses on

Otter offers a wide range of software and hardware solutions for restaurants. Some examples include unifying all orders across platforms (Uber Eats, Doordash etc), QR code ordering, POS, Kiosk, printers etc. The wide range of products brings an interesting set of complexity in terms of discovery and set up.

You will be a part of the Otter Engineering team focussed on building products for our internal ops users across sales, onboarding, customer success and external customers as they go through the experience of discovering, purchasing, onboarding and upselling onto different products that Otter has to offer. We are a full stack team of frontend and backend engineers, designers and a PM on a mission to offer the best experience for our customers to discover and onboard onto Otter product suite.

What we're looking for
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Software, Computer Systems or Networks Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of domain experience in the specified role.
  • Individual Contribution: A track record of significant contributions in previous roles, showcasing your ability to make a meaningful impact.
  • Strong ability to design and create long-lasting architecture from scratch and evolve existing systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate with non engineering stakeholders.
