Role Responsibilities


As an Engineering Manager on the CLM Collaboration Team, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing features for a suite of collaboration and negotiation tools within DocuSign's CLM and Intelligent Agreement Management offerings.

You will lead a team of full-stack engineers, overseeing the delivery of new functionalities.

Your role will involve coordinating with fellow engineering managers and teams to engage employees in the product development lifecycle.

Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders in software development to create a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision.

The engineering manager will serve as a people manager, hiring manager, technical guide, and delivery manager for the teams you closely collaborate with.

Moreover, you will coordinate with various departments within or outside the organization to ensure project success and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities


- Execute the product roadmap utilizing agile methodologies
- Develop and maintain highly scalable, efficient, and reliable services
- Collaborate with partner teams to create solutions that address diverse needs
- Work alongside the Product Management team to gather requirements and design the next generation of services
- Enhance the performance and reliability of existing services
- Utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making
- Mentor and foster the growth of team members

Job Designation

Hybrid:
Employees will split their time between remote work and in-office attendance, with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in software development and management across various languages and frameworks
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- 3+ years of experience managing software teams of 6 or more
- Proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams
- Preferred experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages and paradigms
- Experience with cloud platforms and advanced web applications
- Knowledge of large data ecosystems and data quality issues
- A track record of enhancing team processes and outcomes
- Proficiency in CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, or MVC
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)
- Proven ability to identify and nurture talent
- Experience in full-stack SaaS development
- Experience launching initial product versions

Compensation and Benefits

Pay for this position is determined by various factors, including geographic location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
