Description:

We are seeking an Security Training Coordinator to help keep our community safe. We support Emory Healthcare's mantra of "We're all in this together." Our goal is to offer Security Services worthy of premier healthcare. Each service has been personally developed for the purpose of exceeding your service expectations. This individual will:

  • Training Coordinator will be responsible for identifying training and developmental needs and for planning, organizing and overseeing the training program for all Public Safety Officers and EHC staff as required.
  • As the Training Coordinator your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: Will assist with shift coverage as needed.
  • Monitor compliance of HLC regulatory requirements completion.
  • Interact with county/local Law Enforcement and community training as required/requested (ompiling and presenting information).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Five (5) years of military, law enforcement or security experience, with one (1) year of instructor/training and presentation.
  • Able to exercise physical restraint.
  • Requires a valid CPR card, Georgia drivers license and insurable driving record.
  • IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety) supervisor certification within one (1) year of employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification preferred.
  • Must be able to pass extensive Psych Evaluation as a condition of employment. (Locations with armed officers)
  • Maintains licensure and proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and firearms.
