Sectra, Inc. is growing and we are currently seeking an Integration Engineer to take on a pivotal role encompassing planning, analysis, technical work, communication, documentation, and maintenance responsibilities associated with the deployment of HL7, DICOM, and other system interfaces. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, external support groups, and third-party vendors across various project stages. Working in close coordination with the project manager, the Integration Engineer will contribute to and execute the project's interoperability (I/O) integrations by adhering to well-established best practices.

In this position, you will:
  • Design, build, document, and troubleshoot interfaces that facilitate data exchange between Sectra and third-party systems
  • Manage Integration & interface portions of implementation projects with clients or vendors
  • Own data integrity checks across interfaces
  • Test and validate implemented interfaces based on requirements
  • Demonstrate commitment to and compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures, and practices
  • Perform internal trainings as well as customer trainings as needed
  • Build and deliver third-party application integrations ie: URL, XML, API, JSON
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
For this position, the following requirements apply:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant combination of training and experience
  • At least 5 years' experience building and deploying integrations in a production environment
  • Operational experience in information systems, specifically with HL7 data, including experience integrating large, complex, mission-critical systems
  • knowledge in Mirth or HL7-based interfaces, XML, and Data integration tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
  • Data Migration Experience (Flat-File / HL7 / MS-SQL)
  • Intermediate SQL experience
  • Must possess and have proven problem-resolution skills
  • Must be willing to work after-hours for project implementation
  • Provide consultative responses to customer inquiries and internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in English

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
