WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs.
Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions.

Oversee the inpatient utilization/authorization process and all Medicaid contract requirements related to inpatient services, including daily/hourly authorizations with hospitals, action letters, etc. Assist designated clinical staff with tracking and monitoring of clients receiving inpatient services. Oversee the outpatient outside provider authorization process. Process patient claims for payments/denials. Other compliance duties as assigned.

Demonstrate exceptional written, oral communication and organizational skills. Dependable and good attendance record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Passion and alignment with the WHS mission, vision, values and operating principles. Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes. Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development. Critical thinking, detail oriented and strong organizational skills required.

Must be willing to complete and criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
