Role Synopsis

Pay and Tax Specialist As a Payroll Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Helping employees on all tax or payroll matters Liasing with 3rd party vendor on monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax files to governing bodies and ensuring they are approved in time. Corresponding with tax authorities to ensure voluntary and involuntary deductions are being filed as per corporate guidelines. Ensuring payroll integrity by reviewing tax-related paperwork and conducting internal audits to check for compliance. Addressing queries employees may have regarding tax compliance Monitor and research all tax related notices for locations which you are responsible and ensure timely resolve in partnership with appropriate teams or vendors. Work with the company’s finance teams to ensure accurate pay and tax reporting, reconciliation, and controls. Providing research and evidence where called for. Raising 221 process corrections in ADP Global View. Processing quarter corrections, working closely with ADP to ensure quarterly amendments can be filled without error. Playing an active role in the quarterly reconciliation

The ideal candidate for this role must be: 1. A payroll tax expert with extensive knowledge of regional taxation laws, compliance requirements, and corporate policies. 2. They should have excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills to identify payroll withholding-related tax issues and compliance errors. 3. Proficiency in payroll management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is also essential. 4. Proficiency in ADP SmartCompliance preferred. 5. Candidates who are familiar with IRS guidelines, payroll analytics, and other computational skills are preferred 6. At least two years’ experience working in payroll tax 7. Expert knowledge of Excel
