Job Description This is a position for a strong strategic leader with senior sales experience within the luxury hotel sector. This newly created role for Canada’s Western Mountain Collection (CWMR) oversees the leisure and tour sales activities for Fairmont Banff Springs, The Rimrock Banff, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – Leisure and Tour is responsible for overseeing the management of the regional sales team for this market, as well as developing and executing leisure sales and marketing strategies, ensuring revenue maximization, supporting existing client relationships, and building out new business sales & marketing opportunities for each of the collection’s hotels. With a line of sight on an innovative approach to business growth, the Regional Director will identify synergies, support cross selling, and exceed regional and hotel revenue goals. Job Duties Include: Based out of Fairmont Banff Springs and reporting to the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing (RDOSM), responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop and execute strategies to exceed defined KPIs within the tour series, FIT, and luxury consortia market segments. Responsible for the development of new business for the hotels within each of the above subsegments, in addition to maximizing revenues and maintaining strong relationships with strategic key accounts. Capitalize on collaboration opportunities with key travel agency partners (Virtuoso, Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, Signature Travel, etc.) Provide strong leadership and ongoing coaching, training, and action plan follow up to promote individual and team development by way of:

Creation of strategic business development sales & marketing plans for all leisure segments. Collaboration with RDOSM, Directors of Sales & Marketing, & Revenue Management teams to determine quarterly strategies to optimize revenue opportunities via new initiatives to maximize both short- and long-term goals. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to maximize storytelling and marketing partnership opportunities. Collaborate with partners to grow winter and shoulder season via itinerary creation and marketing support. Manage regional travel budget to maximize proactive sales opportunities, including timely follow up and trip reports. Oversee regional contracting and negotiation process. Oversee recruitment, retention, and performance management of the team.

Research travel consumer trends to identify and capitalize on new opportunities via resort programming and itinerary creation. Maximize collaboration opportunities with DMOs & PMOs, to influence new geo market & air lift creation to drive new revenue sources for long-term growth. Lead communication with Global Sales team and advocacy of CWMR needs within Accor. Maintain strong collaboration with Accor’s Pacific Northwest region. Participation in industry trade shows and sales trips, hosting of key sites & BDTs to ensure strong sales presence while key clients are onsite. Provide consistent and clear communication to multiple stakeholder groups. Embody the values of AccorHotels: Guest passion, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation, Trust & Respect. Qualifications Your Skills & Qualifications: Strong hotel sales management experience required within the tour & leisure segments, including working at a senior level for a luxury hotel brand. Experience working in the international market is an asset. Multiple property sales experience preferred, including resort experience. Experience with leveraging marketing (including digital and content) and PR ecosystems to amplify awareness, develop strong partnerships, and drive increased growth. Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management Degree is an asset Goal oriented and competitive. Positive attitude, supportive, firm and fair team-based approach to ensure attainment of hotel’s short- and long-term goals. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Ability to understand and interpret financial data to create winning strategies and solutions. Ability to develop strong client relationships. Astute attention to detail. A passion for exceeding client expectations. Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills essential. Strong account management and contract negotiation skills. Computer literacy in various applications including Opera Sales & Catering and Microsoft Office. Ability to travel and work flexible hours and days. A role model in proactive sales.
