Job description
The main function of this business program manager is to help the business create program, communication, education, and change management plans, stay on track to meet target dates, help define deliverables, create status reports, and be a leader of the program workstream. The Change Management Lead will support Combined Insurance's efforts to innovate its online Agency Portal and digital producer experience and will partner with business resources across product, underwriting, new business, billing, claims, distribution management, and operations to drive change, manage stakeholders, support field readiness, and overcome challenges.

Deliverables will focus on managing the successful rollout and adoption of new capabilities designed for our agents. This will include managing change across workstreams, building detailed program/change plans, education plans and creating communications/materials. The Change Management Lead will be key to ensuring successful rollouts and adoption of solutions to our captive and independent agents across the United States. A successful change management lead will ensure that we have effective education programs, strong communications, and that changes are introduced to the field in a way that drives adoption and limits disruption. This will span topics such as agent/broker experience and technology, and enhancing systems/operations to support new business (e.g., sales tools, products, compensation, field support operations, contact center). Experience executing a phased rollout of new products and supporting technology and/or programs to a sales force would be ideal.

The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize agency adoption, usage and minimizes resistance. The Change Management Lead will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact agents. The Change Management Lead will partner across functional areas to orchestrate the deliverables needed to support a successful rollout to our field agency. The Change Manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities including education and field rollout into their project plans.

Key Activities
•Work cross-functionally with business areas to create and maintain a program and change management plans, and help to execute
•Conduct change management assessments, analyze impact/change readiness across stakeholders, and coach project teams
•Evaluate/ensure user readiness, manage anticipated resistance, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
•Drive creation of change plans: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
•Integrate change management activities into project plans, define/measure success metrics, monitor progress, and report issues
•Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications
•Support training leads with planning, design, and delivery of training programs

Skills and Qualifications
•A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
•Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
•Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
•Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal
•Ability to manage strong stakeholders and assertive personalities, direct the business community, and keep stakeholders bought-in
•Highly organized, extremely goal oriented mindset, logical, thorough, and detail-oriented

Experience
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
•5+ years of significant experience leading change within the group, voluntary or supplemental insurance space
•5+ years of significant experience leading change focused on insurance product implementation and distribution
•Proven track record leading executives in the insurance or financial services industry
•Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
•Experience working in a multi-discipline, matrix structure team fostering collaboration and teamwork
•Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
•Change management certification or designation desired
