Overview
Cape Cod Central Railroad is currently hiring Servers in Cape Cod As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our train guests. This is a part-time seasonal position in Cape Cod - Hyannis, MA, with competitive pay. We offer opportunities for career growth and advancement within Cape Cod Central Railroad.

Duties:
  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer inquiries about menu items
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
  • Comply with all alcohol, food and beverage regulations
  • Will be required to multi-task as Server, Bartender and Busser
  • Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Server required; Familiarity with a POS system preferred
  • Previous customer service or hospitality role is preferred
  • Strong balance and coordination; Must be able to carry out Server duties while on a moving train
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent guest relations skills
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of culinary techniques for accurate order taking
