The Auto Claims Adjuster serves customers by determining requirements, answering inquiries, resolving problems, and fulfilling requests.

*Day in your Life*

+ Oversees the design and application of a risk management framework for iA American Warranty Group (Company or iAAWG) respecting the iA Financial Group (iA) standards in accordance with the Companys Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Policy.

+ Answers inbound calls from customers, repair facilities and dealers.

+ Initiates automotive claim, gathers pertinent information for repair facility, payment and vehicle systems affected and documents into Toro database.

+ Researches contract and verifies coverages for claim eligibility.

+ Gathers parts and labor estimates on affected covered systems.

+ Validates estimates utilizing labor time guide applications (either Alldata or Mitchell Pro Demand).

+ Reviews claims estimate totals, confirms and applies any applicable benefits (rental, towing).

+ Confirms payment method and informs repair facility personnel of protected e-fax credit card payment procedures.

+ Maintains media management of systems provided computer, e-mail, instant messaging and telephone.

+ Informs customers of repair procedures and explains the terms of the contract when they call in for information.

+ Processes and generates Toro system work assignments for related automotive claims activity.

+ Provides claim summary and notes to Team Leads and Supervisors and refer claim for review and approval when beyond authorization limits.

+ Processes specific vehicle information pertaining to claim and attach to Toro database.

+ Communicates with Team Lead to provide corporate casualty administration with current data for contract and any updates or corrections.

+ Performs call backs to repair facility personnel and customers as directed by supervisors and management.

+ Processes physical mail and disperses to claim payment department for reimbursement processing, scanning and attachment of documents.*You have*

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ At least 2 years of experience in Automotive repair/claims within a call center environment or customer service.

+ At least 2 years of business experience in an office environment which relies heavily on computers.

+ ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred.

+ Able to read and interpret contracts.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Accurate and fast data entry skills (30 wpm with accuracy).

+ Good written and verbal communication skills.

+ Solid problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to keep work well organized.

+ Ability to receive direction and work with supervisors well.

+ Ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team player.

+ Ability to adapt well to change, both procedural and organizational.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to work various shifts and overtime as business needs require.

+ Knowledge of company products is a plus.

+ A positive, learning-oriented attitude.
