Position Summary: In the role of Adjuster/Estimator, you will collaborate with clients and contractors to gather essential information for precise estimations. Your responsibilities will include crafting comprehensive reports detailing the necessary work, associated costs, and timelines. You will also review insurance policies to ensure accurate claims assessments. Proficiency in software such as Xactimate will be crucial for generating accurate estimates. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will address inquiries, provide updates, and negotiate equitable settlements with clients and insurance representatives. Maintaining meticulous records of all documentation and staying informed about industry trends and regulations is also key to excelling in this position.

Key Duties:

  • Engage with clients and contractors to collect vital information and documentation for precise estimates.
  • Draft detailed reports that encompass the scope of work, cost breakdowns, and timelines.
  • Examine and interpret insurance policies, coverage, and exclusions to guarantee accurate claims evaluations.
  • Employ industry-standard estimating software, such as Xactimate, to produce precise estimates.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, insurance representatives, and project stakeholders to resolve inquiries, provide updates, and negotiate fair settlements.
  • Keep accurate records of all correspondence, documentation, and project-related information.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance professional expertise and performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Adjuster or in Fire/Water Restoration Estimation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience using Xactimate.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Water/Fire Restoration field.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
  • Proficient in utilizing estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary ranging from $75k to $95k.
  • Competitive commission structure:
    • 3% of total mitigation and content sales from documented relationships initiated and maintained by the employee.
    • 1% of total reconstruction/repair sales from documented relationships initiated and maintained by the employee.
  • Company vehicle and gas card for the selected position.
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • 401K with company match up to 6%.
  • Paid Time Off eligibility after 90 days:
    • 5 days of vacation and 3 sick days in the first 2 years.
    • After 2 years, increase to 10 vacation days.
