Provider Relations Rep

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Updates and maintains the Preferred Provider Directory;
- Completes provider updates according to department standards;
- Verifies correct addresses for returned mail;
- Returns invalid NPI/TIN claims to provider and updates system information when valid information is returned;
- Assists members and provider with network status of providers;
- Produce preferred provider directories as requested;
- Reports status of ongoing tasks to provider relations supervisor;
- Support assistance for other staff as needed;
- Regular and timely attendance required;
- Maintains a professional demeanor both in person and over the phone; and
- Performs any other duties as required or assigned.
